Tomorrow, the Louisiana House of Representatives is scheduled to consider Senate Bill 402 on the floor. Please contact your state Representative and strongly urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 402.
Senate Bill 402, sponsored by state Senator Neil Riser, would allow volunteers with a valid concealed carry permit to serve churches or houses of worship as armed security. Further, this legislation defines training requirements for those churches whose insurance liability requires it.
Again, please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 402 when it comes up for a vote.
