After being presented with his order of tacos and Cokes, the customer pulled a pistol and suggested that for dessert he'd like all the cash in the Los Angeles, Calif., fast-food restaurant. Assistant Manager Charles Hall complied, but when the thief turned to leave, Hall drew a pistol and ordered the man to halt. He refused, and Hall fired once, wounding him in the buttock. Then as Hall departed to phone police, three youths entered and relieved the prostrate gunman of the cash and his dinner.
